1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Conduit platform, API, and related services (“Service”) operated by Conduit (“we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you are using the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Service
Conduit is a schema-adaptive data pipeline platform that provides data ingestion, schema detection, durable storage, and event forwarding. The Service includes:
- Multi-protocol data ingestion (HTTP, WebSocket, MQTT)
- AI-powered schema detection and evolution
- Durable event storage with configurable retention
- Event forwarding to webhooks and external services
- A web-based dashboard and API for management
- MCP server for AI agent integration
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, including API keys, and for all activity under your account.
You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. We are not liable for any loss arising from unauthorized access to your account.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Transmit any data that is illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or otherwise objectionable
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or related systems
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use the Service to send spam, phishing, or unsolicited communications
- Exceed your plan’s usage limits through circumvention or abuse
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Service without prior written consent
5. Data and Privacy
Your Data. You retain all rights to the data you send to the Service (“Your Data”). We do not claim ownership of Your Data. We process Your Data solely to provide and improve the Service.
Data Location. All data is hosted, processed, and stored entirely within the European Union. Your Data never leaves EU borders.
AI Processing. When AI schema analysis is enabled, your data structure (not content) may be analyzed by our AI systems to detect and optimize schemas. This processing happens server-side within our EU infrastructure.
Data Retention. Your Data is retained according to your plan’s retention period. Upon account deletion, we will delete Your Data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
GDPR. We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For details, contact us at privacy@usecondu.it.
6. Service Availability and SLA
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice. We are not liable for any downtime, data loss, or service interruptions caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.
7. Usage Limits
Conduit is currently free to use during its public beta. All features are included.
Beta limits. Accounts include 100K events/month, 5 streams, 100 MB storage, and 3 forwarding destinations per stream with 30-day data retention. Ingestion pauses when limits are reached.
Future pricing. We will introduce paid plans before ending the beta period. We will notify existing users in advance and provide a reasonable transition period.
8. API Keys and Security
API keys grant access to your account and data. You are responsible for keeping them secure. Do not share API keys in public repositories, client-side code, or insecure channels.
We reserve the right to revoke API keys that we reasonably believe have been compromised or are being used in violation of these Terms.
9. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, documentation, and branding, is owned by Conduit and protected by intellectual property laws. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand assets.
You may use our API and documentation solely to integrate with the Service as intended.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Conduit shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the Service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or €100, whichever is greater.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Conduit, its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Termination
You may terminate your account at any time through the platform settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if required by law.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We will delete Your Data within 30 days of account termination, unless retention is required by law.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service at least 30 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Denmark, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Copenhagen, Denmark.
